MISSION STATEMENT
The Celebration of Liberty programs and activities are intended to instill in people a love and understanding of the U.S. Constitution and spark a desire to maintain the freedoms we enjoy because of this inspired document. Our hope is to motivate individuals to study the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and other founding documents, understand them, and ensure we abide by their principles. Our mission is to play an educational role in teaching how citizens of the United States may enjoy and appreciate how the limited power of government ensures our freedom.
The Celebration of Liberty is non-partisan and should not be used as a campaign forum, activist platform, or to promote political parties or candidates. References to deity should follow the example of the founding fathers and founding documents of the United States and be general in nature rather than teaching the doctrines of any specific denomination. Join us at our exciting patriotic events and strengthen your understanding of the principles of the Constitution.CELEBRATION EVENTS
TRIBUTE TO THE CONSTITUTION: This year we are pleased to have author and radio talent Glenn Rawson as our keynote speaker. The show will also includes a dramatic re-enactment of the 2nd Virginia Convention where Patrick Henry delivered his famous "Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Death" speech. There will be a stirring presentation of the colors by the Veterans of Foreign War, National Guard, and Boy Scouts of America. A community inter-denominational choir will sing The Battle Hymn of the Republic. There will be performances by a children's choir, Sincopation, and many others performances. Our children are AMERICA'S HOPE. The America's Hope choir children will sing inspiring songs that both entertain and educate. You will enjoy skits and stories performed by the children. This will be a multi-media show that honors those who fought [and fight] for independence. Through song children learn the functions of the United States government as it is outlined in the Constitution. CHILDREN'S PATRIOTIC PARADE: Children are invited to show their patriotism and decorate their bicycles, wagons, horses, dogs, and even themselves and march in a parade that fulfills the wishes of John Adam who said that Independence Day should be filled with "parades". After the parade the children are invited to play games and participate in more activities that help teach them about the principles that make this country a free country (Click here for more details)

High School Seniors participated in the Celebration of Liberty essay contest. Winners received $1000, $500, or $300 scholarships.
